glass clear.
our most transparent sustainability report 2025.
the wait is over –here’sour 2025 sustainabilityreport.
With our 2025 Sustainability Report, we’re making ourselves transparent in the truest sense of the word – including taking a close look at the uncomfortable parts. Under the title “crystal clear. our most transparent sustainability report 2025.”, we deliberately put transparency front and center.
Across more than 50 pages, we show where we stand – and where further action is needed. For the first time, we are voluntarily reporting in line with the European VSME standard for non-listed small and medium-sized enterprises. This brings more structure, enables deeper insights into key topics, and makes our sustainability efforts even more transparent and easier to understand.

always getting a little better.
The new Sustainability Report documents measurable progress – and a whole lot of groundwork. In 2025, fritz-kola recorded emissions across its entire value chain for the first time, from field to bottle. Building on this, the company is setting science-based climate targets in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligned with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C pathway: Scope 1 and 2 emissions are to be reduced by 95% by 2031 compared to 2019 levels. In addition, fritz-kola has defined a long-term, potential-based target through to 2036 as part of its emissions reduction trajectory.
In 2025, we also expanded its packaging portfolio for the first time, launching a pilot project with an aluminum can. Our values remain glass clear: the can is explicitly an additional solution - used only where returnable glass reaches its limits.
Other passion projects from the past year: A portion size study showed for the first time how packaging size influences total consumption—households purchasing smaller bottles (up to 0.5 L) demonstrably consume less than those opting for larger formats. With our annual deposit study and its ongoing call to increase deposit levels for a future-proof returnable glass system, fritz-kola continues to push an issue it believes has been overlooked for far too long.
In the years ahead, we will continue to sharpen our climate strategy, take an even more systematic approach to water as a key resource, further strengthen the circular economy, and drive greater transparency and responsibility across our supply chain.
the chapters.
01. our plan. with attitude.
Our sustainability strategy focuses on kola and the entire fritz product range – the heart of our brand. Sustainability is firmly embedded in our corporate strategy and processes. We aim to grow not only in Europe but also internationally, and to contribute to the development of the beverage industry by reducing environmental impacts and advancing social issues along the value chain.
02. our mission against emissions.
Wide awake since day one: climate protection has been a matter close to our hearts at fritz-kola ever since we were founded—not as a reaction to regulatory requirements, but as a conscious entrepreneurial decision. Our climate strategy is embedded in our business decisions: from sourcing to production tologistics. That’swhy we have built a solid data foundation to define the right targets, steer our measures, and make progress transparently visible.
03. making waves for water.
Water playsa central rolethroughout our entire value chain. At various stages of production—from the agricultural cultivation of raw materials to bottling and cleaning, all the way to the drinking water in the final product—it forms the foundation of our business model. In short: no water, no kola, no soda, no spritzer.
04. lots of circularity; ideally super zero waste.
Everything we dorequiresresources: raw materials, energy, and packaging. And we know that every use of resourcesimpactspeople and the planet. That’swhy we aim to reduce these impacts as much as possible and use resources efficiently, sparingly, and responsibly. For us, circular economy is the most effective way forward.Above all, thismeans keeping materials in circulation for as long as it makes sense.
05. No ifs, no buts: responsibility along the supply chain.
fritz-kola stands up for human rights. They are the foundation for a life of dignity and for fair business relationships. Our products are made possible by the work of many, many people across different countries and industries. That’swhy we take responsibility—together with our partners.
06. stay awake. stay loud. how fritz-kola gets involved.
In everything we do, we keep the people who drink our kola in mind. That’swhy this chapter of our sustainability report is about you—and about the society we are part of. To us, kola is not just another product, and certainly not a mass commodity, but a conscious indulgence. Our drinks belong to those moments when people come together, talk, debate, and share time. Wide awake, with an ice-cold kola in hand, conversations just flow better. That’sexactly why we work to make our products high-quality, safe, and transparent—so that enjoymentremainsa conscious choice.
07. our fritzees.
Ourfritzeesare the heart of fritz-kola—nothingworks without them. That’swhy we shape our workplace so that our people feel comfortable. We rely on an alert, respectful culture on equal footing and create space for development, courage, and fresh ideas.
